Roz Jackson, scholarship chair of Trumbull County AAUW, presented the annual scholarship to Isabella Reyes of Girard High School with her mother Jennifer Reyes as part of the ceremony. The award ceremony took place at the June meeting of the AAUW at Leo’s Restaurant.
David Maurice provided entertainment for our Christmas party and Diana Bauman introduced him to the group.
Linda Petrilla, Linda Woodford, Cheryl Hill and Lynda Ralston served on the
AAUW committee to host the December meeting. The committee donned festive aprons and served members as they filed through the buffet line. AAUW Trumbull County is composed of University Women and focuses on serving the community and helps break through educational and economic barriers so that all women have a fair chance.
