AAUW WARREN-TRUMBULL COUNTY BRANCH
2025-2026 Scholarship Application
The AAUW (American Association of University Women) Warren-Trumbull County Branch is offering a scholarship to assist Trumbull County female students pursuing a college/university degree in the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) or STEAM (+ Arts) fields of study. The scholarship will be an award of $1,000.00 posted to the recipient’s student account after enrollment.
Qualifications for the scholarship:
1. The applicant must be:
* Female, resident of Trumbull County, Ohio,
* Full-time high school senior (12th grade) student,
* In good academic standing with a 3.2 minimum grade point average (GPA), and
* Enrolled in a bachelor’s degree level program at an accredited college or university, located in the State of Ohio, by the scholarship award timing.
2. A transcript, signed by a school administrator, must be provided with the application. Transcript copies with an official signature are acceptable.
3. The applicant must submit an essay about herself, stating her career goals, why she should be considered for the scholarship, and any extracurricular or life experiences. The essay must contain at least 400 words. (Please include the applicant’s name on the essay.)
4. Applicant must also include a letter of reference from her high school guidance counselor.
